HLB is an independent private agricultural research institute. Plant and soil health are central to HLB. We help our clients to formulate research questions and translate them into field, lab and/or greenhouse tests.
A speciality of HLB is research into the control of biological and non-biological factors. Biological factors include nematodes, fungi, viruses, insects, bacteria, weeds and useful soil life. HLB is also the designated institute for research in quarantine organisms.
Thanks to its own test field service, laboratories, quarantine facilities and available test fields, HLB is able to perform tests very adequately and efficiently.
